Giants Center Seubert Leaves Game With Knee Injury

LANDOVER, Md. (AP) — New York Giants center Rich Seubert has been carted off the field in the first quarter against the Washington Redskins with a dislocated right kneecap.

Seubert had moved from left guard to center for Sunday's game to replace Pro Bowl center Shaun O'Hara, out with an Achilles' tendon injury in his left foot.

Seubert was injured on the Giants' seventh play from scrimmage in a game they need to win to have a chance of making the playoffs. He was landed on by Washington defensive lineman Anthony Bryant and began waving to the sideline for help before the play was over.

Kevin Boothe took over for Seubert at center. It's the first time Boothe has played center in the NFL.
