Law adds that it’s time the island start acting like the big guy that it is.

“We’re bigger than not only 18 states, but most of the major cities in the United States and we have cities that are much smaller than the Nassau/Suffolk County region that can host professional sports teams,” Law told WCBS 880 Long Island Bureau Chief Mike Xirinachs.

Law’s vision is a development where people can shop and dine, a convention center that would also accommodate professional sports teams, and he’s calling on the business community to lead the way.

Law says, “Let’s get together. Let’s do something that makes sense for the region.”
