Snow Delays Start Of Massive Brooklyn MTA Rehab
BROOKLYN, N.Y. (WCBS 880) – For subway riders who normally enter at the 15th Street station in Brooklyn, Friday's snow was a good thing.
The snow delayed the start of the $260 million rehab of the Culver Viaduct. Instead of starting on Monday, the construction is being pushed back one week.

After the start, it'll be about a year and a half to do the massive section along the F train.
"It sucks. It's going to change my whole commute," one commuter said.
"I guess it's necessary that they do it, but we'll end up walking," said another.
Riders can also take the route that the station attendant explained.
"You have to take Coney Island bound train to Church Avenue," she said.
It'll take about 5 minutes to get to Church Avenue, but then one has to wait for the Manhattan-bound F train, bringing the detour upwards of as much as 15 minutes.
