Report: More People Moving Out Of New Jersey Than Other States
NEW YORK (WCBS 880)/CBS 2 - More people moved out of New Jersey in 2010 at a faster rate than any other of the contiguous 48 states, according to a national moving company.
United Van Lines says out of the 146,837 interstate household moves handled by their company, New Jersey was this highest out-bound move at 62.5 percent.

Sullivan says New York and Connecticut fall into the 'balance' category.
So, where is the highest in-bound move? For the third consecutive year, Washington D.C. holds the top spot at 64.3 percent.
United Van Lines has been tracking household interstate moves since 1977.

"It's been this way for a while, caused by a number of things. High taxes in the state of New Jersey, an unfriendly, what was thought of as an unfriendly business environment," said Charkrin.
