Red Bull Arena To Host 2011 MLS All-Star Game
NEW YORK (AP) — The Major League Soccer All-Star game will be played at Red Bull Arena in July.
The league said Tuesday that the game will be held July 27 in Harrison, N.J., and the opponent will be announced later. In recent years, MLS All-Stars have played European clubs making preseason tours to North America.

The New York area was the site of the All-Star game during the first two years of the league. Games were played in 1996 and 1997 at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.
The $200 million, 25,000-seat stadium Red Bull Arena opened last year.
