Forty-five members of the chorus will team up with composer Nico Muhly in his new hour-long composition, "Tell the Way."
"This is a much edgier sound. It really will blow the lid off common youth choral music as you know it," chorus director Valerie Lewis said.
The performances will run Thursday, Friday and Saturday in Dumbo at the St. Ann's Warehouse—just one of the many highlights for the kids.
"They're excited to work with these artists and they're equally excited to go to St. Ann's Warehouse, which is a world class arts venue in Brooklyn to perform," Lewis said.
The performance also features artists such as Bishi, Bryce Dessner, Sam Amidon and ACME.
