NEW YORK (CBS 2) -- A Fire Department electrician who filed a race discrimination complaint against the department in December said a noose was left inside his work locker.

Gregory Seabrook said he found the noose on Thursday at an FDNY facility in Red Hook, Brooklyn.
Seabrook's lawyer displayed the noose at a news conference.
"It's a workable noose as one can see. So positioned in front of our client's locker certainly suggests very strongly in no uncertain terms a direct threat," said Stephen Jackson, Seabrook's Attorney.
Seabrook and four other minority electricians claim the Fire Department overlooks them for overtime and promotions.
An FDNY spokesman said "The department has a zero tolerance policy towards intimidation. This alleged incident is under investigation."
