Angel Pagan arrived at Mets camp on Friday – and the inevitable questions about who’s playing centerfield – Pagan or Carlos Beltran – began. The two are close friends and Pagan was asked whether it’s an awkward situation or somehow easier because of their relationship.

Collins did say that he feels he owes it to Beltran to give him every opportunity to retain his position – and also the one he prefers to play.

Beltran may possibly arrive on Saturday, so the debate will continue.
