Emmy-Winning Photojournalist, Known For Unique Spirit, Passes Away

NEW YORK (CBS 2) – Emmy award winning photojournalist and former CBS 2 staffer Don Janney passed away this week.

Janney retired in 2009 after spending more than 30 years at CBS 2.

Several months ago, his health started slipping and more recently he had been recovering from a liver transplant.

Janney's unique spirit can not be replicated and he will always hold a special place in the hearts of the staff at CBS 2.

Janney was 61 years old.
