Three Suspects Sought In Manhattan Restaurant Robbery
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are asking for help in locating three suspects wanted in connection with a robbery at a Manhattan restaurant on Saturday.
Authorities said the suspects entered Barbuto Restaurant on Washington Street around 1:30 a.m. and attacked an employee, who was cleaning the restaurant after closing.
One of the suspects put a knife to the victim's neck as the other two men tied-up and blindfolded him, police said. The suspects attempted to break into a basement safe, but were unable to. Two laptops were taken from the restaurant before the suspects fled the scene, according to authorities.
The suspects are described as:
Suspect 1: M/H, 20-24 years old, 5'8", medium build. He was last seen wearing a black and white hooded jacket with blue jeans, white sneakers and a dark back pack.
Suspect 2: M/H, 20-24 years old, 5'9", medium build. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket with blue jeans and a baseball cap.
Suspect 3: M/H, 19-21 years old, 5'8", medium build. He was last seen wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt with blue jeans.
