PISCATAWAY, N.J. (AP) — A matchup with Army in Yankee Stadium and a trip to North Carolina highlight the 2011 Rutgers football schedule.

Home games against Big East Conference foes Pittsburgh, West Virginia, South Florida and Cincinnati are also on the schedule released Friday.

The Scarlet Knights will kick off the season Sept. 1, hosting North Carolina Central in a Thursday night game. They then travel to Chapel Hill for a game against North Carolina on Sept. 10.

After taking a week off, they will host Ohio on Sept. 24 before starting their conference schedule with a trip to Syracuse on Oct.1.

The Nov. 12 matchup with Army will be the first time Rutgers has played in Yankee Stadium since 1948.

I wonder if the classless Rutgers fans will taunt the Army cadets and players like they did a few years back when they played Navy. Probably not since now that Rutgers sucks again they really have no fans.
