NYPD Seeks Suspects In String Of Spa Robberies

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The New York City Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects wanted for a string of spa robberies in Manhattan.

The first incident occurred at about 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 20. Two suspects robbed cash from a 56-year-old woman at knifepoint at the Green Phoenix Spa on West 46th Street before fleeing the scene.

On Monday, February 21, the suspects entered the Bodywork Foot and Back Spa at Washington Place. They displayed a knife and forced a 48-year-old female into the bathroom, where they then removed cash and fled.

The third incident happened at the Shu Xin Services on Canal Street, when the suspects again forced a woman into the bathroom at knifepoint. They then robbed the 42-year-old woman before they fled the scene.

There were no reported injuries in any of the three crimes.

Police describe the first suspect as a Hispanic male between the ages of 25 and 27, approximately 5'10" to 6' with a thin build. He was wearing a black jacket and black boots.

The second suspect was described as a Hispanic male between the ages of 20 and 22, approximately 5'9" to 5'11" with a thin build.
