Another Poll Shows Bloomberg's Popularity Slipping
NEW YORK (WCBS 880) - A new Marist College poll finds New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg's once sky high numbers continuing to fall.

His job approval now stands at 40%. It was at a record high of 68% in October 2008.
That 40% number is up from January's 37%, but down from February's 44%.
"This is a mayor who is obviously suffering somewhat from third term-itis," says Marist College poll director Lee Miringoff.
"A majority now think the city is headed in the wrong direction. That typically leads to the door step of the mayor," says Miringoff. "We're seeing the one-two punch."
The poll found nearly 2/3 surveyed disapprove of his management of the schools.
More than half don't like how the mayor is handling the budget.
Overall, 59% don't like the job he's doing.
Also, 53% say the city is headed in the wrong direction.

A March Quinnipiac University poll showed his approval rating at only 39%.
