Man Struck And Killed By Train In Lower Manhattan

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A man was struck and killed by a train on Saturday night in Lower Manhattan.

Police responded to a call at 10:14 p.m. on the northbound 4 track at Spring and Lafayette streets where they found a 50-year-old white male victim unconscious and unresponsive with serious trauma to the body.

EMS responded to the scene and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

There is no criminality suspected at this time, police said, and the identification is pending family notification.
