Keefe To The City: Chat With Jesse Spector

There are just two games left on the schedule for the Rangers and they still haven't clinched a playoff spot. Over the weekend, the Rangers could end up as high as the No. 6 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs or as low as out of the playoffs completely depending on what happens between their own games and Buffalo's and Carolina's.

The Rangers will be without Ryan Callahan for the remainder of the season after he suffered a broken ankle against Boston on Monday, and now Matt Gilroy will move from defense to forward to fill the void left by Callahan. In goal, Henrik Lundqvist has played in every game since Feb. 11 and is sitting atop the Vezina conversation along with the Bruins' Tim Thomas.

Jesse Spector, Rangers beat writer for the Daily News, joined me to talk about the state of the Rangers before Games 81 and 82 and a potential playoff run.
