NJ Woman Crashes While Reporting Erratic Driver

TOMS RIVER, N.J. (AP) -- A southern New Jersey woman was injured when she crashed her car into a tree while calling police to report an erratic driver.

Toms River police tell the Asbury Park Press that 46-year-old Luisa Fisco was calling 911 on her cell phone when the crash occurred in the Ocean County community around 10 a.m. Saturday.

The Toms River resident was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, but further details on her injuries were not disclosed.

It was not known what became of the driver Fisco was trying to report. Authorities say the crash remains under investigation.
