Police Investigate Shooting At Cabo Lounge In White Plains

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Police were looking for a suspect in the shooting at a packed suburban nightclub that left two people injured.

The shooting occurred at the Cabo Lounge in downtown White Plains early Sunday morning.

Police Commissioner David Chong said two patrons were shot in the leg.

The Journal News reports that the club was so packed that police requested that the fire department check for overcrowding. Chong said after firefighters arrived, a man ran out of the club screaming he had been shot in the leg.

While police were clearing the nightclub, they found a second man who had been shot in the leg.

Chong said only one shot was fired. Police say they believe the bullet ricocheted and hit the second suspect.
