Police Seeking S.I. Man Suspected In Five Store Robberies

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Staten Island are asking for the public's help to find a suspect wanted in connection with five robberies.

Authorities said Alexander Molina, 34, has taken cash from delis, grocery stores and a liquor store. The incidents took place on April 24 and 25.

In the latest robbery that took place on April 25 around 8 p.m., Molina allegedly entered a liquor store at 548 Vanderbilt Avenue and forced a victim to the back of the establishment.  Police said he removed an undetermined amount of money from two cash registers and fled on foot.

Molina has also allegedly used firearms in some of the other robberies. However, there were no injuries to any of the victims in any incident.
