689 Kegs Of Peroni Beer Stolen From Shipping Container Near Linden Airport
LINDEN, N.J. (WCBS 880) -- A container holding 689 Peroni beer kegs was stolen near Linden Airport earlier this month.
The container was found Sunday in Newark but Linden Police Detective Lt. James Sarnicki said the kegs are missing.

The majority of the kegs were empty because the beer had gone bad but Sarnicki said the kegs are still worth almost $52,000.
There was no video surveillance and there were no witnesses. There are also, at this point, no leads.
