4 Shot At L.I. Nightclub

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Four people were shot at a nightclub in Suffolk County early Saturday morning, police said.

At 3:31 a.m., police received a 911 call of shots fired at the Oxygen nightclub in Rocky Point. Upon arrival, responding officers found three women with gunshot wounds.

Rocky Point Ambulance transported the three women to Stony Brook University Medical Center where two were treated for shots to the leg and the third was treated for a shot to the foot.

The fourth person who was shot was a man and was taken to a Port Jefferson hospital before police arrived. He was later taken to Stony Brook University Medical Center and treated for a shot in the leg. A bullet had also grazed his torso.

The investigation is ongoing. Police are asking that anyone with information regarding the shooting to call the Seventh Squad detectives at 631-852-8752 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
