Mets-Rockies Postponed By Rain, Snow; Game Rescheduled For Thurs.

NEW YORK (WFAN/AP) — The game between the Mets and the Colorado Rockies has been postponed because of rain and snow in the Denver area.

The game scheduled for 3:10 p.m. Wednesday will be played Thursday at 3:10 p.m.

Ubaldo Jimenez (0-2) was scheduled to start for Colorado and Jonathon Niese (1-4) was expected to pitch for the Mets.

Instead of Mets-Rockies, WFAN listeners will hear Mike Francesa until 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, followed by Marc Malusis from 6:30-10 p.m.

It was the 20th postponement of the season in the major leagues, one shy of last year's total.
