Beltran Out With Swollen Eye

HOUSTON (AP) — Mets outfielder Carlos Beltran was removed from New York's lineup against the Houston Astros because of swelling in his right eye.

Beltran said he woke up Saturday "feeling like something was in my eye."

He hit three home runs against Colorado on Thursday and in his last 12 games has five homers, five doubles and 14 RBIs.

Fernando Martinez started Saturday's game in right field.
