Nashama Karlbach and the Green Pastures Church choir from the Bronx will fill the Orangetown Jewish Center with sacred sounds.

"The Baptist gospel chior learned the songs in Hebrew, sing with Nashama to these rocking tunes from her father and her own tunes in order to bring this message that more unites us than divides us," said rabbi Paula Macdrill. "And on Memorial Day, on a civic day for America to bring hearing and optimism to our county."

All proceeds go to the Vietnam Veterans of America and Jewish war veterans. The concert is Monday starting at 7pm.
