Trouble, The Dog Leona Helmsley Left Millions To, Has Died

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A pampered pooch has passed. Trouble, the beloved dog of Leona Helmsley, has died at age 12.

The Daily News says Trouble had been living at a Helmsley hotel in Sarasota, Florida since the real estate mogul's death in 2007.

Helmsley left the little maltese $12 million, which a judge later knocked down to $2 million.

Trouble's inheritance has now been placed in the Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust.
