Bronx Suspect Wanted In Connection With Sex Assault And Robbery

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police in the Bronx are asking for the public's help to find a suspect wanted in yet another sexual assault in the city. The same suspect is also being sought in a separate robbery.

On Sunday, authorities said that a Hispanic man, between 20-25 years old, sexually assaulted a 42-year-old woman near the intersection of Tinton Avenue and East 163 Street in Morrisania.

The victim was followed into an elevator and then forcibly removed from the it before being attacked around 8 a.m.

Forty-Five minutes later, at the intersection of Boston Road and East 165th Street, a 17-year-old girl was approached from behind by the suspect, who assaulted her and stole property, police said.
