Police Hunt Two Men Following Push-In Robbery In Riverdale

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - It started with a knock.

Police say two Hispanic men, 25-30 years old, walked into a Riverdale apartment building early June 1.

At about 8:10 a.m., the 5'5"-5'6" men, who weighed about 155 pounds, knocked on an apartment door.

A 57-year-old resident answered the door.

That's when police the two thugs shoved their way into the apartment, wielding guns. They tied up the 57-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman who was also in the apartment.

They then looted the place, stealing jewelry and electronics.

No one was hurt.

The two thieves were caught on surveillance tape.
