NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — There’s a moral to every story kids, and Florence Henderson may just be telling you that extramarital affairs are bad.

Henderson, 77, most famously known for her role as Mrs. Brady on “The Brady Bunch,” has penned a memoir and it’s going to be far steamier than you’d expect.

Inside the book, due for release in September, Henderson reveals that she had one night stand with former NYC Mayor, John Lindsay – while he was in office.

Henderson reveals that she got crabs (aka pubic lice) from Mr. Lindsay.  She realized what had happened the next day when she noticed “little black things” crawling on her bed and body.

In her forthcoming book “Life Is Not a Stage,” Henderson writes “Guess I learned the hard way that crabs do not discriminate but cross over all socioeconomic strata.  He must have had quite the active life. What a way to put the kibosh on a relationship.”

Both Lindsay and Henderson were married to other people at the time of their brief affair. Henderson admits to feeling guilty almost immediately: “I was lonely. I knew it wasn’t the right thing to do. So, what did I do? I did it.”

In her memoir, Henderson will also reveal whether or not she did the deed with co-star/on-screen son Barry Williams.

Tsk, Tsk Mama Brady.  What would Alice think?

She is disgusting, accusing a dead man who cant defend himself. Anything to sell a book I guess, and flaunting her affair as if its something to be proud of.
    Lost all respect for her.

Does she think that anyone believes this??(or really cares??) I love stories that come out when the other person is already dead. Guess The Brady Bunch reruns aren’t airing enough!!
