New Release Date For Casey Anthony, But What Happens When She Leaves?

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- It's a story many in the tri-state area are still talking about. Casey Anthony is getting out of jail.

But a recalculation for good behavior resulted in the new release date of next Sunday, July 17 rather than next Wednesday.

Considering the anger this case has generated, many, including her own attorneys, are worried about what'll happen when she does leave jail.

"Sure, everybody around her knows you have to be concerned for her safety. There's a lot of nuts out there who don't believe in the Constitution. All you have to go downstairs to the sidewalk to see," said defense attorney Cheney Mason.

Details are still emerging about how the jury reached the controversial decision to acquit the Florida mother on the most serious charges .

Juror number two tells the Saint Petersburg Times that the initial vote was 10 to 2 against first degree murder, but it was a tie on the manslaughter charge.

After 11 hours, the juror says there was agreement on the acquittal, telling the newspaper through tears that he wished "...we had more evidence to put her away...but it wasn't there."

The big question this morning, what will happen when Anthony walks free?

Ann Jacobs from John Jay College specializes in prisoner re-entry.

"I don't know where she can go in the country where she wouldn't be recognized," said Jacobs. "It's going to be very hard for her to find a place to go where she can start fresh."

The 25-year-old seemed to be trying to make a fresh start with her appearance during her sentencing.

With hair down, makeup on and appearing happy, an image that had people talking even more.

"To put on makeup and to be smiling, heartless," said New Hyde Park resident Samantha Selvaggio.

Anger continued to spread online, with commenters vilifying Anthony on social media networks. More than 30,000 people "liked'' the "I hate Casey Anthony'' page on Facebook as of early Friday.

The page included comments wishing her the same fate that befell Caylee.
