Gotham Gossipist: Victoria's Secret Models Get Sweaty For Charity

By Kimberly Rae Miller

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Don't feel bad, apparently even lingerie models have no idea what they're doing at the gym.

Limited Brands, the company behind Victoria Secret, announced Wednesday that they raised over $100,000 for charity earlier this week when six of their already super-slim representatives got a little hot and bothered with...some exercise equipment.

In an effort to raise money for charity Pelotonia, an organization which supports cancer research and treatment through bike tours, the ladies of Victoria's Secret put on some spandex and headed to the Soul Cycle studio in Tribeca on Tuesday.

Alessandra Ambrosio, Lily Aldridge, Candice Swanepoel, Lindsay Ellingson and Erin Heatherton all wore more clothes than we're used to seeing them in as they got sweaty with a group of philanthropic fellas.   The gents in the class all paid $1,000 for the honor of spinning next to the models.

While they certainly looked better in spandex than the rest of the class, the models admitted that this was their first experience with spinning.

"My mom was an aerobics instructor and taught spinning when I was younger," Candice Swanepoel told the New York Post.  Apparently Mama Swanepoel was so strict, her daughter had been too scared to try the class up until now.

But hey, along with the money for charity, the girls now have even tighter butts - if that's possible.

I wonder if the guys in the class realized they would actually be exercising when they paid $1,000 to get sweaty with a model?
