Living Large: Inside An Artist's Dream Luxury Loft In SoHo

NEW YORK (CBS 2) -- CBS 2's Emily Smith recently got a tour of a multi-million dollar SoHo home. The residence is an artist's dream as one man turned the open loft into a modern masterpiece filled with works of art.

The home located at 114 Greene St., which was built in 1870, is one of SoHo's premier cast iron beauties.

An elevator to the 5th floor opens right into 8,500 square feet of luxury living space.

Henry Buhl said he wanted to apartment to be decorated in Renaissance style. He said that almost all of the art he has in the home was purchased in SoHo.

"I wanted to be loyal to the local artists of SoHo," Buhl said.

The first main room in the loft is an art gallery filled with pictures of artist's hands.
