Harrison Democratic district leader Maria Polera has been charged with sending unauthorized pizzas to the home of the town’s mayor Joan Walsh for about a year.
Polera, who ran for the position of receiver of taxes on the same ticket as Walsh — who also holds the position of town supervisor — twice, but lost both times, pleaded not guilty on Tuesday to theft of services and harassment.READ MORE: Suspected Human Remains Found In Florida Wildlife Preserve Where Authorities Are Searching For Brian Laundrie
She was released without bail.
