Jets Sign 6 More Undrafted Free Agents, Bring Total To 16

NEW YORK (WFAN/AP) -- Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum continued his onslaught of undrafted free agent signings on Thursday.

The Jets added six more UFAs, bringing their total to 16 since the NFL lockout ended.

The signings Thursday include: Central Michigan linebacker Matthias Berning, Minnesota offensive lineman Jeff Wills, centers Taylor Boggs of Humboldt State and Zane Taylor of Utah, and safeties Byron Landor of Baylor and Davon Morgan of Virginia Tech.

On Wednesday, New York signed tight ends Josh Baker and Collin Franklin, wide receivers Michael Campbell, Dan DePalma and Courtney Smith, linebackers Nick Bellore and Stafford Gatling, cornerback Julian Posey, center Tom Ottaiano and offensive lineman Chris Stewart.

Since free agency began, the Jets have agreed to terms with Santonio Holmes, Wayne Hunter and Nick Folk, but those signings are not official until Friday. The team is also in hot in pursuit of free agent cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha.
