They're getting ready for the Little League World Series in Portland, Oregon next week.

While they're focused on what they have to do, they're also bubbling over with excitement, giggles and chatter.

"It feels amazing," said one of them.

The softball team is made up of girls between 11 and 13-years-old.

Thirteen-year-old Jayde Marks, who plays center field, says the people in Oregon better look out.

She says there are a few tricks to being a great softball player.

"Stay calm, teamwork and you've got to know that your team's going to have your back," Marks said.

Thirteen-year-old Coco Solicito, who plays second and third bases, says their trick to winning is teamwork and respect.

"We're here to do our best and we're going to all work as a team," she said.

The first game for them is against Milan, Italy on August 12 at 5 p.m. eastern time.
