NYC Unicycle Festival

Travel: 1 to South Ferry, then take the Governors Island Ferry from the Battery Maritime Building, Slip 7
Price: Free
Description: The celebration rolls into town this weekend (on one wheel, no less). While the fest spans three days with tours and rides around the city, you'll find the best sights for kids at the Governors Island stop. Check out demonstrations, races and even unicycle basketball and hockey games. All ages.
When: Saturday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Family Magic Show with Mario the Magician

Description: Take your little Houdini to learn a new trick or two from full-time magician Mario Marchese. Along with silly antics and an interactive show, kids can enjoy the sounds of the jazz group Sleight of Hand Band. Ages 3 and up.

Richmond County Fair
Where: Historic Richmond Town, 1 Clarke Ave at St. Patrick's Place
