Police Looking For 17-Year-Old Suspect Oneil Dasilva After 8 Shot At Bronx Party

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police say eight people, including children, were shot at a party in the Bronx and now they're looking for a 17-year-old from Mount Vernon in connection with the shooting.

It happened on East 221 Street around 3:40 a.m. Sunday. Police say the 17-year-old opened fire, critically shooting one victim an injuring seven others.

A 24-year-old man was shot twice in the chest and was taken to Montefiore hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

The other victims include a 19-year-old man shot in the buttocks, a 21-year-old man shot in the thigh, a 24-year-old man shot in the forearm, a 14-year-old girl shot in the back, a 17-year-old boy shot in the pelvis, an 11-year-old boy shot in the leg and a 13-year-old girl shot in the thigh.

They were all taken to area hospitals and are in stable condition.

Police say they are now looking for 17-year-old Oneil Dasilva from Mount Vernon.
