B&C Morning Show: Sean Landeta Delves Deep Into 1986 Giants
The Giants will honor their 1986 championship team tonight at MetLife Stadium when they take on the St. Louis Rams. The punter for that squad, Sean Landeta, stopped by to pay Boomer & Craig a visit and talk about old times.
Craig thinks the Giants go a little overboard when it comes to the '86 team and celebrating them the way they do, and he let Landeta know it. Boomer, on the other hand, sees no problem with the Giants celebrating greatness.
Landeta was very excited about the gathering. He offered a few stories about the old team before boldly claiming that, with the proper training, if he wanted to he could still punt in the NFL today.
But apparently he doesn't want to.
Criag would be hard-pressed to talk about the '86 Giants and not bring up the name Lawrence Taylor, which was evident when during the guys' chat with Landeta, Craig predicted that LT would not make it to the 50th anniversary...
Landeta found some time to pose for a picture with Dominique and even allowed her to play with his rings (photographic evidence below).
