B&C Morning Show: JB Smoove, Leon From 'Curb,' Stops By The Allstate Studio
Al Dukes was very excited that JB Smoove was scheduled to join Boomer & Craig in the Allstate Studio just after 9 a.m.
For those of you show don't know, JB Smoove is an actor/comedian and his rise to prominence can be attributed to his character Leon on the HBO hit 'Curb Your Enthusiasm.'
JB is a local guy - growing up in Mt. Vernon, NY which automatically makes him a natural enemy of Craig, who grew up in New Rochelle - and he arrived dressed to impress wearing a jacket that caught Craig's eye, so he asked to try it on and Smoove reluctantly agreed (see photo below).
With the fashion show out of the way, the actor/comedian told the fascinating story of how he came to Leon on 'Curb' and what it's like working with a comedic genius the likes of Larry David.
