17 Cops Indicted In Bronx Ticket-Fixing Scandal
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A grand jury has indicted 17 police officers in the ticket-fixing scandal in the Bronx.

Published reports indicate that these NYPD officers are union deletes, sergeants, and possibly high-ranking officials, all of whom must turn themselves in on Monday.
More than 500 officers have been linked to the scandal. Those involved are accused of taking cash, alcohol and other gifts for fixing the tickets. Furthermore, the officers could face bribery, perjury and grand larceny charges.
The grand jury indictments come after a three-year investigation.
