L.I. Cops Cracking Down On Dangerous Driving In School Zones
NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- If you drive by a school zone on Long Island, watch out. Cops are cracking down on dangerous drivers.

In Suffolk County, police are looking for speeders, tailgaters and those who are texting while driving in a school zone.
So far, cops have been busy, handing out 2,700 tickets in just two weeks.
Police Commissioner Richard Dormer said it's all about keeping kids safe, so slow down.
School zone enforcement will continue throughout the school year.
