Check in is Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the bandshell, with the official world record to be set at 5:30, when everyone must stand together for 10 minutes.

A number of rescue organizations will also be on hand with adoptable animals, and the Petco Foundation will present the Mayor's Alliance with a brand new adoption van.
