Audrey Hepburn Look-A-Likes Celebrate 50th Anniversary Of 'Breakfast At Tiffany's'

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- It's time to throw on your best black dress, sunglasses and pearls in honor of a cinematic classic that's turning 50 today.

Theme parties are being held across the nation to mark the anniversary of "Breakfast At Tiffany's" -- which debuted in theaters on Oct. 5, 1961.

Audrey Hepburn look-a-likes are celebrating the blockbuster at a party Wednesday afternoon on 1354 First Avenue between 72nd and 73rd Streets -- just blocks from the original brownstone where the movie was filmed.

The movie, based on the book by Truman Capote, featured some of the Upper East Side's most affluent shops and apartments.

Llords Cordials will provide free cocktails.

Donations towards the Audrey Hepburn Children's Fund will be accepted.
