High Line Park Receives Record $20 Million Gift
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - The High Line has some friends in high places.
The Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation made the gift, Mayor Michael Bloomberg said. The gift will pay for the last section of the park and supplement the park's endowment.

Barry Diller, chairman of IAC and Expedia, and his wif, designer Diane von Furstenberg, the designer, have previously donated $15 million dollars to the park.
In June, the park opened its Phase II section, which expanded it to 30th street.
