Search Continues For Queens Armed Robbery Suspect

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The New York City Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a man suspected in an armed robbery in Queens.

Police say the suspect approached his victim, gun in hand, and demanded the victim's wallet and cell phone before fleeing on foot into the Queensbridge Housing Development.

The robbery happened at 3:15 a.m. on September 29 at the corner of 22nd Street and 41st Avenue. No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a Black man, between 20 and 23-years-old, and standing six feet tall. He was last seen wearing a Dungaree jacket, baseball cap, white t-shirt and pants with the number nine on the left leg.
