Saks, Bloomie's, Gear Up For Holidays With Season Kick Off Sales, Celeb Appearances

Beginning Wednesday evening, Saks gets festive with its first markdown of the season at The Saks Fifth Avenue Private Night. The 40 percent discount will include most of the items in the store, including the premier brands.

Not to be outdone by its crosstown rival, Bloomingdale's is launching a Five Day Friends & Family Sale where most items in the store will be 20 percent off.

But savings aren't the only thing to be found at Bloomie's on Wednesday. Vera Wang will launch her new shop inside the iconic New York City

And as an added bonus, you can meet Vera Wang as she launches her new shop inside of Bloomies at E. 59th St and Lexington Ave. The famous designer will be meeting and greeting fans.
