High Pressure System Dominates Tri-State Skies On Saturday

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – As a high pressure system moves up from the Carolinas, residents of the Tri-State will get warm temperatures and sunny skies for their Saturday.

A Southwesterly flow is bringing the system into the area boosting temperatures to a high of 56 degrees.

The overnight low is expected to drop to 45 degrees.

There will be some light winds though reaching between 10 to 15 miles per hour. Those winds will die out a bit in time for Sunday.

On Sunday, Tri-State residents can expect just a few clouds and warmer temperatures.
