Jets' Pool, Nelson Inactive Against Patriots

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — New England safety Patrick Chung and linebacker Brandon Spikes will not play in the Patriots' game against the New York Jets.

Chung was listed as questionable with a foot injury, suffered last Sunday against the New York Giants, while Spikes had already been ruled out for Sunday night's game with an injured knee.

Former Jets defensive end Shaun Ellis (rib) was active after being questionable, as were cornerback Kyle Arrington (foot), linebacker Jerod Mayo (knee) and running backs Kevin Faulk (knee) and BenJarvus Green-Ellis (toe). Backup tackle Nate Solder (concussion) was also playing.

Jets safety Brodney Pool (knee) and tight end Shawn Nelson (illness) were inactive for New York, as were defensive linemen Kenrick Ellis and Martin Tevaseu, running back Bilal Powell, wide receiver Eron Riley and quarterback Kevin O'Connell.
