NYPD: Suspects Wanted For Trying To Steal iPhones

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police say they're looking for two suspects who are wanted for trying to steal iPhones in three separate robberies in Manhattan.

The first happened back on Oct. 25 when police say a suspect walked up to a man on 114th Street. Armed with a box cutter, police say the suspect demanded the man's iPhone. He handed it over and the suspect took off.

Then in the same area of 114th Street on Nov. 12, police say a suspect, armed with a gun, walked up to man and demanded he hand over his iPhone. But when the man said he only had a Droid, police say the suspect demanded cash instead.

The man refused and the suspect took off empty-handed.

It happened again several days later on Nov. 21. Police say a suspect walked up to woman and told her to hand over her iPhone. When she said she didn't have one, police say the suspect pushed her into a fence and rummaged through her pockets before taking off on a bike.

Police say one of the suspects was seen on surveillance video:

Police are still investigating.
