Antrel Rolle On WFAN: Giants 'All In' For Playoff Run

NEW YORK (WFAN) -- After each crushing late-season loss for the Giants, safety Antrel Rolle faced the criticism head-on.

He answered for the botched plays and blown coverages. And all along, Rolle insisted his team would rebound and make the playoffs.

Well, it turns out he was right.

"I stayed confident in our group," Rolle told WFAN's Joe Benigno and Evan Roberts on Tuesday. "I stayed confident in our approach."

Last January, Rolle publicly took coach Tom Coughlin to task for being "too uptight." To say Rolle has softened his approach would be an understatement.

The safety admitted that, after an adjustment period, he's now fully on board with Coughlin.

"You have to be a man about certain things," said Rolle. "I had to be a man and say, you know, 'I'm wrong.'"

Next up for the Giants: Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons. A win Sunday at MetLife Stadium would send Big Blue one game closer to their goal -- Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis.

"We're all in," Rolle said. "We're all on deck, and we're going to make a run at this thing."

But Rolle wouldn't go so far as to speculate on possibly getting another crack at Green Bay in the next round.

"I apologize, but I have to stop you right there," he said. "I'm not looking that far ahead. I'm just gonna be honest with you, our number one concern -- and our only concern at this point -- is the Atlanta Falcons.

"And that's as far as I'm gonna take that conversation."
