B&C Morning Show: Dan Dierdorf Almost Gets Bumped For Batchagaloop

Al Dukes booked CBS NFL analyst Dan Dierdorf to join the program shortly after 9 a.m., but just as he was ready to come on, Craig thought the "famous" Giants offensive lineman Batchagaloop Jones had entered the Allstate Studio.

As it turned-out, it wasn't ol' Batchagaloop after all.  It was one of our salemen, Greg Hughes, who as luck would have it, filled out the jersey pretty nicely.  Greg also informed Booms of his intentions to run for 'Team Boomer' in this year's NYC Marathon.

With that out of the way Boomer & Craig said hello to Mr. Dierdorf, who will be busy calling the Texans-Ravens game (Sunday @ 1 p.m. on CBS) so the conversation started with that matchup, which the guys all agreed may not be the 'sexiest' match-up of the weekend, but should be a great game.

Speaking of 'sexy' matchups, Saturday night Tim Tebow and the Broncos will head to Foxboro to take on Tom Brady and the Pats.  Like many, Dierdorf is enamored with what Tebow has been able to accomplish and admitted to rooting for the 24 year-old 'football player'.

From there it was on to the Giants-Packers, beginning with the tragedy surrounding Packers offensive coordinator Joe Philbin, who lost his son over the weekend in a drowning accident.  Dierdorf talked about dealing with the tragedy as a team and how something like this really puts things into perspective...
