Police: 2 Dead In Apparent Murder-Suicide
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man and a woman were found dead inside of a Manhattan apartment on Saturday morning. Police officers responded to a 911 call on Arden street where a woman found her mother and her mother's husband unconscious and unresponsive in their bedroom, both were pronounced dead at the scene.
The daughter had last seen the couple on Friday night, but did not spend the evening there.
Yanet Soto, 54, had multiple lacerations to the face. Jesus Soto, 56, was not wounded but police found pill containers next to his body.
Investigators believe that the deaths may have been the result of a murder-suicide.
